How to get Cloudflare R2 configuration parameters
Before using Whale, you need to prepare several Cloudflare R2 configuration values, including:
- Account ID
- Bucket name
- Access Key ID
- Secret Access Key
- Endpoint (optional, depending on your setup)
Steps to obtain them

Log in to the Cloudflare Dashboard
https://dash.cloudflare.com/ -
Find your Account ID
- The Account ID can be found in your account settings or displayed in the url

Create or select a Bucket
- Create a new Bucket in the R2 section if you don’t have one
- Note down the Bucket name

Create an Access Key
- Visit https://dash.cloudflare.com/<ACCOUNT_ID>/r2/api-tokens
- Create a new Account API token
- Save the generated Access Key ID and Secret Access Key (shown only once)
Enter these values into the Whale app to complete the setup.
